Name Change for FABS ! ! !
From the very beginning of our club the Flagler Area Biking SORBA (FABS) name was considered to be a temporary name since our area covered more than just Flagler County. Last year a new name was finally chosen and over this year we will gradually be changing over to the new name. Our new club name will officially be
Florida Association of Single Track Riders (FASTR)
and we will still be part of the great SORBA family.
FABS will always be fabulous but now it's just FASTR!
Why are we part of SORBA

The Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA), is an organization that helps build and maintain mountain bike trails in the Southeast region of the United States and is a supporter of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA). SORBA also promotes mountain bikers' interests, such as access to trails. SORBA represents the SE Region of the United States. SORBA is a member-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, officially chartered organization devoted to promoting land access, trail reservation, and new trail development in order to enhance mountain bike touring, racing, fun, and fellowship for all mountain bicyclists in the southeastern United States. SORBA keeps members informed of important issues, organized rides, work parties, races, socials, festivals, and other events. They hold mountain bike events to raise awareness of land access and trail maintenance, to ride, to race, and to just have fun. Members are entitled to some great things in SORBA. Check out www.sorba.org for all the great member benefits they offer.
2018 FASTR Volunteer of the Year
Congratulations goes out to Randy Henderson for all the great volunteer work he has done for our club in 2018! He will also be assuming the role as trail steward for the Chuck Lennon trail in 2019.
FABS Giving Back!!!
Our club presented a check to the Flagler County Board of Commissioners that symbolized the volunteer hours saved at Mala Compra Green Way Trail in the County. We were able to save the county $13,248.00 in just one year.
